By owning a member of the species you automatically agree to the terms of the group and species rules.

MTTs, Yols, and Zeros were created by annicron - the group is run by Zukuro

It is not required to be a member of the group to own a MTT or Yol, but it is required if you want to participate in prompts or submit things in the group!

Yols may be registered on the account, but they are lower priority as a standard black base/white base Yol is free to make.

Obtaining a MTT

MYOs are given out in free events, prompts, or contests. (They are no longer available for cash purchase.)

Premade designs will continue to be made and will be prizes in Draw-to-Adopt contests.

Through contests you can win:

Standard (black/white base) MTT MYO slots

MTT/Yol Hybrid Slots

        MTT and Yol Upgrades: 

            • Greyscale markings

            • 'Poly' markings - increased color allowance/multi-colored tongue and ears from multiple-parent offspring

            • Pastel hybrid and Yol upgrades

            • Tailless

Prior Gen Yols and MTT MYO slots

    • t-Yol (true Yol)

    • h-Yol (hybrid)

    • y-MTT (true-Yol form MTT)

        Prior-Gen Upgrades: 

            • 'Royal' upgrade - four arms

            • Greyscale markings

Obtaining a Yol

Yols are free to make (minus any design upgrades such as pastel stripes) but must still have their design approved by a moderator.

Revoking Designs

Leaving the group no longer requires giving up the MTT/Yol. We no longer revoke designs under any circumstances.

Active Designs, Inactive Designs, Retiring Designs, etc.

A MTT will have one of three statuses listed.

[Active] - The design is known to still be an MTT and is active as one!

[Inactive] - The status is unknown whether they are still an MTT, an active design, or if the owner is still in the group.

[Retired] - The design is known to have been removed from the species or was changed to another species.

You are able to change your design between 'Active' and 'Inactive' freely by updating the database (see the Database ROLL CALL!! journal for full details) or choose to retire your design permanently to remove them from the species.

Once a design is retired you cannot bring them back, nor are you allowed to have multiple versions of the design as two separate species.

Trading, Reselling, and Transferring Ownership

MTTs and Yols may be traded or gifted. They may also be resold for the original purchase price if you can provide proof of purchase.

To transfer ownership, please locate your MTT or Yol's masterlist entry on the database and comment with updated ownership.

Reselling, Trading, and Vouchers

A MTT or Yol that you personally purchased may be resold for the same amount you paid.

If the MTT/Yol was received in a trade, gift, or draw-to-adopt event you can only trade or gift the design.

   • You may trade for art, designs, or promise to make a bid for a design that is currently available through voucher/autobuy trade.

Vouchers are when you offer your design in exchange for someone purchasing a design or artwork for you.

   • A voucher is considered a trade.

   • If you do not get the desired artwork/item you, as the owner of the MTT, do not get the money promised in the bid. No design changes hands until the other person has the character/art in which to trade.

   • Vouchers may only be offered for something that is readily available for purchase/a specified sale date is known.

   • You may request a voucher regardless of how you obtained the MTT (Sale, Resale, Trade, Gift, etc.)

   • You may ask for any monetary amount on the Voucher to gain the design that you are wanting (ex: You can offer to trade your trade-only MTTt for a $60 commission, or you can offer to trade your $60 MYO slot for a $100 adoptable, but you can't ask for $100 to purchase the design yourself unless you've spent $100 on your MTT.)

The person requesting the voucher should never be the one you send money to. If this is done it is considered a resale, and therefore should follow resale rules.

Acceptable Vouchers

   • Physical custom goods/art (IRL painting, fursuit goods, fashion, etc.) from a specified artist

   • Digital art from a specified artist

   • Adopts, MYO slots, custom designs from a specified artist that are for sale/trade upon voucher request

   • Asking for an amount that is lower than the total amount you need for the adopt/commission/etc

NOT Acceptable Vouchers

   • Vouchers where money goes directly to the person asking for it

   • "IOU" vouchers - or vouchering for something that is not available nor is there a specified date for availability

   • Physical goods that are not custom made (such as laptops, merchandise, pre-made items on etsy, eBay, Amazon, etc.)

   • Gift Cards

   • Physical custom goods/art that are not currently available, from specific artists, or left intentionally vague

   • Asking for an amount that is higher than the total amount you need for the adopt/commission/etc

   • Asking for a lump sum for multiple transactions (an adopt plus art, multiple pieces of art from multiple people, etc) - Please keep all transactions separate for clarity's sake as it makes it easier to enforce and track

   • Vouchering for something that has already been purchased/ordered (vouchering for a custom that has already been paid for, or vouchering to pay for a portion of an unpaid fursuit that was ordered prior to the voucher, etc.)

Personal Protection when Vouchering/Trading for Art, Custom Designs, Crafted Items

There are always risks when ordering custom items and limited things we can do when more than two people are involved in a transaction.

   • As the person getting art/custom items, you understand that you are taking the risk that the other party may not finish the art/custom/item to your satisfaction (whether through quality issues or failure to complete at all.)

   • If you traded your MTT/Yol through an art trade without a voucher we encourage that nothing is transferred until after the art is completed. If a trade is made before art is completed we may not be able to reverse the trade if the design is subsequently traded.

   • If you traded your MTT/Yol through an art trade with a voucher the MTT/Yol should be transferred immediately as the buyer has completed their part of the trade. As the person who is owed art it is your responsibility to make sure you get what you are owed from the artist, and if you do not get what was paid for it is your responsibility to work out compensation with that artist. Once the trade is made we will not be able to reverse a trade.

   • Again - you are ultimately responsible for any and all third-party transactions when involving vouchers. If the other party does not finish their art we cannot reverse a trade.

Co-Ownership

Due to prior issues with co-ownership the group has decided to disallow new co-ownerships of MTTs/Yols.

This does not apply to current co-owns, and you are not required to stop co-owning with someone because of this new rule. We will continue to honor current co-owns.

Designing Your Yol/MTT

Please read the Species Resources provided in this folder when designing your MTT or Yol.

MTTs are NOT free to make, but a standard black-base or white-base Yol is!

Yols, despite being free-to-make, must still be approved.

Submitting your MTT or Yol for Approval

Please send a note to DatabaseMTT with a link to your design (as well as proof that you have permission to make a MTT if submitting that species.)

    • A design requires a fullbody fully colored image to be approved. (Lines can be slightly sketchy, but all design elements of the MTT or Yol need to be clearly visible.)

    • MTTs require their main MTT form be submitted for approval. If submitting human-form art, a MTT form must also be included.

    • Images should be SFW and not include extreme gore or nudity.

Copywritten Themes

You are allowed to take inspiration from things protected by copyright, but mods should not be able to look at a design and point out what show/game/character it is based off of. Use common sense when designing your MYO!

Purchasing/Creating Off-Brands/Fan OCs/etc.

If you purchase an off-brand (the design is listed as obviously from an offbrand account or offbrand specific base) you will be put on a watchlist and will be unable to participate in the group or events until your intent with said character is discussed with a mod.

If you did so knowingly, you may be blacklisted from the group.

This can be lifted and does not mean you are permanently banned, but we do not want members who create an unsafe environment of potential art theft or rule-breaking in the community. Repeatedly doing this (especially after being warned) can result in a blacklist which can potentially be discussed for appeal but is far less likely to be removed unlike a watchlist.

Those who purposefully create offbrand designs will be blacklisted and banned without any warnhese
